Charity

We distribute cryptomonKeys NFTs entirely for free, and we are also committed to charity! Here’s how it works:

• 19% of the commission the cryptomonKeys project receives from secondary market trades are donated to charity. See FAQ  for further details, the rest is used to sustain the project and to reward team members.
• 100% of the proceeds from cryptomonKeys charity auctions are donated to charity. These auctions happen at most every 19 days in average. Charity auctions are typically of high-rarity and/or low-mint number cryptomonKeys cards or monKeystacks.

Both commission and charity auction proceeds (and NFTs allocated for charity auctions) are generally accrued on the wax account monkeynftaid. All WAX sent to that account is allocated for donation to charity and will not be used in any other way. Once a corresponding account balance of approx. 1919 USD is reached, the whole sum is converted, donated, and details are documented. This is due to the hassle that currently no suitable charities are accepting WAX directly, and to minimize conversion fees.

All relevant details such as recipients of donations, amounts and transactions are documented in this shared google doc for transparency.
